Blood Pressure

Hi, I have been on duromine for 6 days 15mg...I am on blood pressure medication which is keeping my blood pressure at a good reading...
Since starting duromine I have noticed that my blood pressure is dropping, today's reading is 98/65.. Has anyone else had this happen?

Hi my name is Traci and I am a 51 year old female from Queensland Australia.
Have been struggling with my weight for most of my life.
I also have high blood pressure which is managed with medication, and told I couldn't take duromine while on blood pressure tablets.
I went to the doctors to renew my script for BP tabs and there was a new young Doctor who was training at the surgery for six weeks...I thought I would play dumb and ask her for some duromine which she didn't hesitate to write a...

Hey guys and girls :)
I am 19, I'm in my second year out of school and I don't really have a stable schedule.
Since 2012 I have gained about 20kg according to doctors records which has completely devastated me every time there is a significant backwards change.
Today I was introduced to the word 'duromine' followed by the words 'legal speed'. I couldn't believe my doctor just suggested I take speed.... Like am i going to feel like im on drugs?
She basically said I need to be able to exercise...

Hi, I'm on day 5 with 30mg of Duromine. So far so good. Had side effects the first day, like dry mouth and heavy feeling to the head but other than that it was ok. As of yesterday (Day 4), I felt pretty normal, no side effects. I feel great, no appetite and for the first time I am not tempted to eat junk food or fizzy drinks. 5 days ago I weighed 95kg and I'm 1.58m in height. I've decided to weigh myself every Thursday so I have no idea if I've lost any weight or not.... but besides losing...

hi all,
i have just started on the 40mg duromine, starting weight 116.9, 176cm tall, goal weight 85, so lots to loose i am unable to exercise at the moment due to a hip problem but my doctor has put me on a special diet and the tablets to help reduce my weight. have hardly slept since starting but don't feel tired, hopefully it will settle down i am so determined to loose this weight for so many reasons I've got my fingers crossed i can do it :)

I dont have much support from my friends or family with being on duromine so I am hoping to get support else where.
I am 25yrs old, married with 2 children. I suffer from depression and anxiety wich makes normal methods of weight loss difficult.
I am hoping that duromine will be the kick start to a healthier me.

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced depression on Duromine? To the point of wanting to stop?..I'm 39, have been on 100 mg of Zoloft for 18 months and have been feeling great until now. Unfortunately even though I felt happy again, my eating was out of control and I gained 14 kgs over 2 years, and am pretty miserable about that so now I'm trying Duromine 30 mg as a last resort, to try and boost my weight loss. I'm quite experienced in nutrition and am eating a healthy low-carb diet at the moment. I...

Hi...this is my 7th day on duromine..the last couple of days I have had a really upset tummy..
Needing to use the bathroom urgently...
I have been eating well and drinking plenty of water...
Is upset tummy a side effect of duromine...

Is it true you put weight back on when stopping duromine?

Hi ya, I've just started a week ago on 15mg & have lost 2 kilos already. I'm quite worried that when I stop taking duromine I will put the weight back on & if not more.
I was always told the faster you lose weight the faster you put it back on.
Has anyone put weight back on when stopping? Thanks

I am starting on duromine 15 mg today 24th November 2012. My weightloss journey started more than a decade ago and i have always managed to lose 3kg max then put on 5kg. I have beenon.duromine once before for 2 months & lost 12kgs. While on it I worked hard to get there but stil have 20kgs to go. Can I get duromine through this site? I am working hard to lose more, lost 6 kilos in the last 10 weeks but have plateau'd & would like some push to reach my.goal in 11 weeks time

Lack of sleep is common for Duromine users. Here are some tips from me:

1. Make sure you take the pill at the same time daily. If you start taking at 6.00 a.m. then do this every day. This will teach your body to spread the energy evenly throughout a day.

2. Your daily activity should be higher than ever, because when you are tired (physically) you sleep better. That's a fact.

3. Drink more water. Lots of users say it really helps.

4. Take 4-6 meals per day. I'm not joking. When you lose...

Hi :)

My name is Kayla and I'm 23 years old.

Here is a quick run through my story.
I've always felt bigger than everyone else and after I left high school I did start to pile on some weight. At around 85kgs I went to the doctors and was prescribed reductil after requesting it. I think I only used it for a month and was going to the gym and starting to make healthy choices with my food. I continued with gym and I'm not sure of time frame but went on to lose 17 kgs and got down to 68 kgs.

Hi all,

Thanks for a wonderful forum, it's been great to get the stories of success (and what to watch for), before I start.

I will begin 30mg tomorrow. Am all organised with my food, all weighed and measured. Am going to stick with around 1200cals during it. I also plan on continuing Crossfit, and hope that the muscle I've built over the past few months will help the fat burning machine (haha, 'machine' - sure). I'm a little worried about an elevated heart rate and high intensity exercise...

Wow what a journey it has been so far. 9 weeks in and a total loss of 19.4kg

When starting out I thought it would be like every other diet, boy was I wrong. I changed my whole way of thinking, eating and reacting to food. My first goal was to loose 15kg - I did that in my 6th week. My second goal was to be under 120kg
