Durumine and PSOS

Hi everybody, I have been reading this forum and all the posts and responses for a while, and finally decided to join! It has really helped me make a decision as far as Duromine is concerned.
I was diagnosed with PSOS, and are receiving treatment for this, but my doctor still refused to give me Duromine. I have tried to lose weight for more than 2 years now, follow a healthy eating plan with daily exercise, but no results. I really want to get back to my pre-psos weight, but nothing seemed...

One month weigh-in

So pleased that I have lost 4kgs in my first month! Would have struggled without duromine!!My only side effect was headaches for the first week.

I would have a small snack, like yoghurt, in the morning and not be hungry again until after 5pm. I would then have a small meal. During the day I drink atleast 2L of water.

This month I'm going to push myself by eating more of the healthier foods. Hoping to lose another 4kgs or more!

Hi all, I just stared taking Duromine 30mg three days ago and I am very happy with the 2kgs I have lost so far...doesn't seem like alot to some people but I now only have 12 to reach my goal in being in my BMI range yay :) I have been exercising everyday for 20-30mins and eating 3 meals a day with a snack if I can eat it as I seem to have to force the food it which sometimes makes me feel sick like I have eaten a horse :/ First night on it was horrible though, think I only got about 1-2 hours...

I just gotta say that Duromine is helping a lot with weightloss, I have 20-30 kg to lose I gained lots of weight while I was pregnant. My little one is 6 1/2 months old and he is my world, it took us years to fall pregnant, I suffer from PCOS - PCOS is a hormonal condition involving high levels of insulin or male hormones known as ‘androgens’, or both. The cause of this is unclear.

I am sure some women are familiar with this, anyways in the past few years I also suffered from depression and...

My first day on the pill, i weigh 105kg and my goal weight between 60-70kg.
Not feeling hungry at all, but very tirsty.

Im from nz and am 22 years of age I am about to start duromine 15mg I am 108kgs after just having my first daughter this is the biggest ive been, clean eating and exercise will be the key....

Hi, I'm on day 5 with 30mg of Duromine. So far so good. Had side effects the first day, like dry mouth and heavy feeling to the head but other than that it was ok. As of yesterday (Day 4), I felt pretty normal, no side effects. I feel great, no appetite and for the first time I am not tempted to eat junk food or fizzy drinks. 5 days ago I weighed 95kg and I'm 1.58m in height. I've decided to weigh myself every Thursday so I have no idea if I've lost any weight or not.... but besides losing...

Hello all well im just posting an update... I think i have been of duro for 3 or 4 weeks now and im doing great! I was on it for a little less than 4 weeks and it was a great help to start me off.... So eating better and drinking my water i have so far kept it off and a little more...

My starting weight was 73.3 and i stopped after reaching my goal after 4 weeks weighing at 65kg i am now 64.7 and happy and not craving anymore just going with the flow :) hope everybody is doing great

Water Retention?

I have been on Metermine 15mg for 5 days. I am drinking approx 3.5 L of water daily and exercise every morning doing Gillian Michaels.. I am currently eating 3 small meals daily but my goal is to get to 5. I thought drinking and excercising this much my body would be flushing out any toxins however I find (without giving to much info) I am only going to the bathroom maybe 4 times a day. Is anyone else experiencing this and is it normal? Someone suggested I may have water retention as I have...

I usally take Duromine 5 am in the morning, is that to early iam not to sure i know that i sleep pretty well .. Should you take it around 6-7 am would that be better or not ?

hi all,
i have just started on the 40mg duromine, starting weight 116.9, 176cm tall, goal weight 85, so lots to loose i am unable to exercise at the moment due to a hip problem but my doctor has put me on a special diet and the tablets to help reduce my weight. have hardly slept since starting but don't feel tired, hopefully it will settle down i am so determined to loose this weight for so many reasons I've got my fingers crossed i can do it :)

Is it true you put weight back on when stopping duromine?

Hi ya, I've just started a week ago on 15mg & have lost 2 kilos already. I'm quite worried that when I stop taking duromine I will put the weight back on & if not more.
I was always told the faster you lose weight the faster you put it back on.
Has anyone put weight back on when stopping? Thanks

hey guys , i've just started Duromine 30mg and it all seems to be going well , Just dry mouth so drinking lots of water helps that ... Don't really have much time to exercise will that affect my loss alot ??o_Oo_O

I have a high protein low carb diet that my doc has done for me so following that on a daily basis with 2l water ...
:)
Any handy tips would be amazing ....:D

So it has been a week since it started taking 15mg of Metermine. Wow how much can change in 1 week. On day 1 I took a video of myself explaining how I feel and to be honest I looked like s%#t.. My face is puffy and I look like my life had been sucked out of me. Day 1 I weighed 104.1 on the gym scales and 109.1 on the dr scales however I think hers where out and I have weighed myself on 3 other scales and they all said 104.1. My weeks included eating 3 small meals a day and daily workouts .
